Today recipe is a variant of the Filipino chicken dish known as lechon manok which is...

Baked Chicken's Wing Inasal

Note: It's up to you if you want a whole chicken or any other parts of chicken. In this blog, I used chicken's wing.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups - Ginger, chopped
  • 14pcs. - Calamansi juice
  • 1/2 tbsp. - Black pepper
  • 1 cup - Soy sauce (any brand)
  • 1 whole - Garlic, crushed
  • 3pcs. - Lemon grass
  • 3tbsp. - Brown sugar
  • 1pc. - Whole chicken/ or any other parts
  • 3tbsp. - Vinegar
Procedure:
1. In a large bowl, combine ginger, soy sauce, black pepper, vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, and calamansi juice. Mix then add the chicken and mix well again.
2. After 5 minutes mixing, put it all (with sauce)  in a large cellophane plastic together with the lemon grass. Then tie it well and marinate overnight to become more tasty.
3. After marinated for overnight, remove it in cellophane plastic and bake for 160℃-170℃ in 1 and a half hours. Use jelly roll pan as much as possible for baking.
4. Serve and hope you enjoy it😊!

Tips: If you want to become your inasal more sweet, add more sugar or top it with honey.
