Vanilla Sponge Cake

Ingredients:

  • 3 pcs. - Egg yolk
  • 1g - Salt
  • 3 pcs. - Egg whites
  • 90g/ 1/2 cup - Sugar
  • 90g/ 3/4 cup - Cake flour, sifted
  • 30g/ 1/4 cup - Vegetable oi or l
  • 30g/ 1/4 cup- Milk 
  • 2 ml/ 1/2 teaspoon - Vanilla Extract

Let's proceed:

  • Separate egg yolks from egg whites. Set aside egg whites.
  • In a separate small bow, add salt and vanilla extract the egg yolks. Then whisk it. Set aside.
  • Beat egg whites until frothy, gradually add 90g sugar. Continue beat the meringue until soft peak.
  • Add the mixed egg yolk in meringue. And mix thoroughly.
  • Then add the cake flour. Mix from bottom to top until you no longer see the flour. Set aside.
  • In another bowl, add the milk to vegetable oil (not cold). Do not mix.
  • Then add some cake batter and mix until it has got the right consistency.
  • Combine it with the remaining cake batter. Mix well, then it is completed.
  • Pour it in the round pan size or any baking pan size you want (with wax paper or parchment paper). Hit the pan from top to bottom to remove bubbles.
  • Bake in preheated oven at 170॰C (338॰F) for 30 minutes.
  • Finally, it's done!




I tried it also in a cup cake pan. So perfect and delicious😍!
