Vanilla Sponge Cake
Ingredients:
- 3 pcs. - Egg yolk
- 1g - Salt
- 3 pcs. - Egg whites
- 90g/ 1/2 cup - Sugar
- 90g/ 3/4 cup - Cake flour, sifted
- 30g/ 1/4 cup - Vegetable oi or l
- 30g/ 1/4 cup- Milk
- 2 ml/ 1/2 teaspoon - Vanilla Extract
Let's proceed:
- Separate egg yolks from egg whites. Set aside egg whites.
- In a separate small bow, add salt and vanilla extract the egg yolks. Then whisk it. Set aside.
- Beat egg whites until frothy, gradually add 90g sugar. Continue beat the meringue until soft peak.
- Add the mixed egg yolk in meringue. And mix thoroughly.
- Then add the cake flour. Mix from bottom to top until you no longer see the flour. Set aside.
- In another bowl, add the milk to vegetable oil (not cold). Do not mix.
- Then add some cake batter and mix until it has got the right consistency.
- Combine it with the remaining cake batter. Mix well, then it is completed.
- Pour it in the round pan size or any baking pan size you want (with wax paper or parchment paper). Hit the pan from top to bottom to remove bubbles.
- Bake in preheated oven at 170॰C (338॰F) for 30 minutes.
- Finally, it's done!
I tried it also in a cup cake pan. So perfect and delicious😍!
